Upcoming Deadline for International Commons

ISSOTL Members,
The deadline for the next International Commons is coming up. Please submit the following by May 1:
  • responses to articles from the January issue, or any previous issue (http://www.issotl.org/newsletter.html),
  • responses to articles you've read elsewhere,
  • book reviews,
  • conference reviews,
  • your observations about SoTL in your part of the world or another,
  • photographs,
  • other items of interest to other ISSOTL members.

Subscribe to the ISSOTL Digest!

In order to make this blog active, we need some people to subscribe and begin posting.

If you are already a member of ISSOTL and would like posting rights to the Digest, e-mail your request to Lisa Kornetsky, ISSOTL Secretary, at lkornetsky@uwsa.edu and you will be issued an email invitation to become an author/contributor to the ISSOTL Digest Blog.

The Institutionalizing Undergraduate Research Institute

The Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) has a twenty-seven year history of advocacy and leadership for undergraduate research initiatives. CUR has provided this very successful Institute model at locations throughout the United States; this is the first international offering of the Institute.

Dates: Thursday June 5th to Saturday June 7th

Purpose of Institute: Overview of undergraduate research models; learning from Council on Undergraduate Research facilitators; development of institutional or departmental action plans.
